Handcrafted hideaway Airbnb
Nestled 30 minutes north of Portland, Oregon, Handcrafted Hideaway is a luxury guest house experience surrounded by lush nature and teeming wildlife. Filled with hand-picked furnishings and pieces that reflect California Coastal roots, with a mixture of warm woods and brass fixtures fitting the Pacific Northwest landscape. I was honored to partner with Airbnb for this project, and have the space featured by Dwell Magazine.
THE PROVIDENCE BARN
This beautiful 28’ x 44’ venue space was built by my husband, and I had the honor of designing the interior to be used for various events, gatherings, and parties. We originally built it as our own wedding venue during the summer of 2020, when it was extremely difficult times to find open venues and gather together. Completed in just 60 days, my husband and I tag-teamed between building the structure and designing the event space. It holds 115 people with stunning 25ft tall ceilings and exposed beams. You can read more details about the venue space in American Farmhouse Style Magazine, the June 2021 edition.
SEASONS PROPERTY
Greater Portland, OR
My approach to this Southern Washington home was grounded in honoring the elements of the surroundings while looking toward the tastes of modern contemporary coastal. Eager to keep the countryside feel intact while infusing a touch of California Coastal, we made sure the fireplace, large windows, and original brick details stay put, instead choosing to focus on newly defined moments with light oak floors, sleek finishes, and elevated stone countertops. The finished product is a space that is decidedly at home in the countryside: every room is filled with light and warm woods.
